Spark by Hilton London Chiswick set for summer opening
Hilton says its new Chiswick property will offer studios with kitchenettes, joining the accommodation options it highlights for visitors exploring Richmond and southwest London.

Hilton says Spark by Hilton London Chiswick will open this summer, offering studio apartments with kitchenette facilities. The company included the forthcoming property in a destination guide to Richmond, positioning it as an option for visitors planning longer stays in southwest London.
The new hotel appears alongside Hilton London Syon Park and DoubleTree by Hilton London Kingston Upon Thames in the company’s accommodation recommendations. Hilton links the properties to visits taking in Richmond’s parks, riverside, filming locations and nearby Hampton Court Palace.
For hotel operators, the guide highlights the different accommodation features Hilton is promoting around the same destination: kitchenettes for longer visits, rail access for sightseeing and leisure facilities within a historic estate setting. The company presents Richmond as suitable both for a short trip from central London and for a more extended stay.
Hotel facilities and transport connections
Hilton London Syon Park sits on the edge of the 200-acre Syon Park Estate, which the company says has been home to the Duke of Northumberland for more than 400 years. The hotel has on-site dining and an adults-only health club and spa with an indoor pool.
At DoubleTree by Hilton London Kingston Upon Thames, Hilton emphasises access to the rail station for travel between Hampton Court Palace and central London. Its description of the forthcoming Chiswick property focuses instead on the studio format and kitchenette facilities, which it identifies as suited to longer stays.
Richmond attractions underpin destination guide
Hilton’s guide places Richmond between central London and Hampton Court Palace, describing it as accessible by a short train journey from the capital. Its recommendations combine outdoor activities with pubs, independent shops and historic sites rather than focusing on a single attraction.
Richmond Park covers more than 2,500 acres and offers walking and cycling routes through hills, meadows and mature trees, according to the company. Hilton also points visitors towards the park’s free-roaming deer and King Henry’s Mound, where a protected sightline provides a view of St Paul’s Cathedral.
The Prince’s Head pub, beside Richmond Green, features in the guide because its exterior has been used for a fictional television pub. Nearby Paved Court provides another stop, with independent shops and cafés along its cobbled lane.
Along the Thames, Hilton recommends the walk from Richmond Bridge towards Petersham Meadows, as well as riverside cafés and pubs. It also highlights Richmond Green’s Georgian surroundings and suggests continuing to Hampton Court Palace for visitors interested in royal history.
The next hotel development identified in the guide is the summer opening of Spark by Hilton London Chiswick. Hilton did not provide a specific opening date in the post.
