Hilton has opened its first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Singapore, bringing the brand to Robertson Quay with a 344-room property on Havelock Road. DoubleTree by Hilton Singapore Robertson Quay opened on 30 September 2026, adding accommodation, meeting facilities and two dining concepts to the group’s city portfolio.
The opening combines a business and leisure hotel offering with restaurants intended to attract neighbourhood customers as well as overnight guests, according to Hilton. The property has seven meeting rooms, an outdoor pool, a wellness studio and a 24-hour fitness centre.
Alexandra Murray, Hilton’s area vice president and regional head of South East Asia, said Singapore remained an important market for the company because of its business community, international connections and appeal to travellers. She said the DoubleTree debut broadened Hilton’s portfolio in the market.
Room mix and small-event capacity
Guest rooms and suites range from 24 to 50 square metres, with 224 rooms facing the Singapore River and 120 overlooking the surrounding neighbourhood. The accommodation includes four Deluxe Suites, three accessible rooms and connecting options for families and groups, while selected rooms and suites have pull-out sofa beds.
Rooms provide work desks, complimentary Wi-Fi, 55-inch HDTVs and tea and coffee facilities. Hilton said Havelock MRT Station is about a five-minute walk away, with Chinatown, Tiong Bahru and Clarke Quay also within walking distance and the Central Business District nearby.
For event operators, individual meeting rooms accommodate 20 to 40 guests, while the combined Clemenceau I and Clemenceau II space can host up to 70 guests. The facilities include pre-function areas, in-house audio-visual equipment and dedicated workstations; selected rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows.
Dining concepts extend the neighbourhood offer
SAUS, the hotel’s all-day restaurant, centres its menu on local flavours and condiments. It offers more than 40 house-made sauces, dips, marinades and sambals across four categories drawing on Singapore and Southeast Asian cooking, spicy preparations and umami-rich marinades.
Dishes include Nyonya Prawn Salad, Grilled Lemongrass Chicken and beef rendang made with Wagyu cheeks. The release states that lunch and dinner service will begin on 1 November 2026.
Brew:33 is a 64-seat lobby lounge and bar serving coffee, cookies and craft beer throughout the day. Its offer includes coffee from local and regional roasters, beers from small-batch local breweries, snacks and a pet-friendly alfresco area.
Vincent Ong, Hilton’s vice president for Full Service Brands in Asia Pacific, said the dining venues were intended to serve the wider neighbourhood alongside hotel guests. He linked the property’s service and amenities to DoubleTree’s focus on small details and personal interactions.
Opening incentives and guest activities
The hotel participates in Hilton Honors and is offering members 1,000 bonus points for every night stayed, capped at five nights, for stays from 30 September to 31 December 2026. Members booking through Hilton’s preferred direct channels can access benefits including member discounts and app-based check-in, room selection and Digital Key.
The lobby also contains a Ritual Hub for complimentary guest and family activities. A cookie-making workshop is planned for October, with further activities due to be introduced in subsequent months, Hilton said.
