The addition to 7-Select spans packaged bakery products at participating stores nationwide, with candy and snacks available in selected regions.

7-Eleven, Inc. announced the launch of Selección 7 on Oct. 12, 2026, extending its 7-Select private brand with a Hispanic-inspired assortment of bakery products, sweets and snacks. Packaged bakery items are available at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores nationwide, while the candy and snack selection has a regional distribution.
The company said the range draws on culturally familiar flavours, aiming to serve both customers who already know the products and those trying them for the first time. For store operators, the launch broadens the private-brand assortment across several food categories, although availability differs between the bakery range and the other products.
Bakery products lead nationwide availability
The nationwide bakery selection includes Vanilla and Chocolate Conchas, sweet breads finished with vanilla topping or chocolate. Mantecadas, vanilla-flavoured muffins sold four to a pack, are also part of the range.
The other bakery product named in the announcement is Panqué con Nueces, a loaf-style pound cake containing pecans. The company identified participating stores across all the named retail banners as outlets for these packaged bakery products.
Beyond bakery, the regional assortment includes Chamoy Aros Durazno, described as Chamoy Peach Rings, and Chichurritos Fuego, a Fire Wheat Snack. Cacahuates Estilo Japonés, or Japanese-Style Peanuts, also feature in the selection.
Early performance highlights conchas and pound cake
Brandon Brown, senior vice president, fresh foods and beverages at 7-Eleven, Inc., said product choices and packaging had been developed to reflect the customers and communities the retailer serves. He identified the pecan pound cake and vanilla conchas as early standouts.
“Panqué con Nueces and Vanilla Conchas are already among the lineup's top-performing items,” Brown said. The announcement did not provide sales figures or a measurement period for that assessment.
Brown said the assortment gives customers opportunities to return to familiar flavours or discover products they might buy regularly. The company described Selección 7 as a growing range, with customers directed to local 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores to see the available selection.
