Hilton has opened NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An in Central Vietnam, marking Tapestry Collection by Hilton’s entry into the country. Developed by Dat Phuong Group, the 174-room resort sits beside the Co Co River in Cam Thanh village, near Hoi An Ancient Town.

The opening adds an independent boutique hotel brand to Hilton’s offering in Vietnam, combining accommodation with four restaurants and bars, wellness facilities and event spaces. The resort also joins Hilton Honors, connecting the property to the group’s loyalty programme and direct-booking benefits.

Alexandra Murray, Hilton’s area vice president and regional head of South East Asia, said the debut broadened the company’s lifestyle accommodation offering in Vietnam. She described the opening as part of Hilton’s portfolio growth across South East Asia, with hotels intended to reflect their destinations and guests’ changing preferences.

Local design and flexible accommodation

Vietnamese architect Vo Trong Nghia designed the resort using locally sourced stone and timber, large windows and views across palm gardens and waterways. Hilton said the design draws on the surrounding landscape, while textiles, lanterns and pottery connect the interiors to local craft traditions.

Accommodation ranges from guest rooms overlooking gardens or the river to deluxe and premium rooms with private balconies or direct pool access. The property also includes the one-bedroom Khang Suite, the NHAAN Presidential Suite and 19 pairs of connecting rooms for families and groups.

Dat Phuong Group chairman Luong Minh Tuan said the collaboration with Hilton aimed to combine international hospitality standards with local character. The resort’s name brings together the Vietnamese words nhà, meaning home, and an, meaning peace.

Dining, wellness and events

Keng Restaurant provides all-day dining with Vietnamese and international dishes, while riverside Plait Restaurant serves locally caught seafood cooked over an open Korean grill. Bong Lounge operates as a café during the day and a cocktail venue at night, with wood detailing inspired by the 500-year craft heritage of nearby Kim Bong Carpentry Village.

Nipa Pool Bar completes the dining line-up with snacks and drinks beside the pool. The rooftop eforea spa & health club offers treatments incorporating native herbs, alongside a 24/7 fitness centre, an outdoor infinity pool and a yoga deck.

For meetings and celebrations, the 200 square metre Hoi An Hall Ballroom accommodates up to 148 people. It is supported by two 35 square metre meeting rooms, a pre-function foyer and a riverside lawn for receptions.

Guest activities include pottery, woodcarving and lantern-making workshops, as well as countryside bicycle tours. A Kids’ Club provides craft-based activities, while waterfront dinners and private picnics are also available.

Loyalty access and opening offer

Alexander Shockley, of Hilton’s lifestyle and collection brands team in Asia Pacific, said the property reflected Tapestry Collection’s focus on independent boutique hotels shaped by their locations. He highlighted locally grounded design, food and beverage, and opportunities for guests to explore the surrounding area.

Nightly room-only rates start at VND 2,386,000, with fully flexible booking options allowing free changes or cancellations up to 24 hours before arrival. Hilton Honors members booking through preferred Hilton channels can access benefits including member discounts, standard Wi-Fi and combinations of points and money for payment.

An opening package covers stays from August 1 until December 15, 2026. It includes 5,000 Hilton Honors points for stays of three nights or more, flexible late check-out until 2:00 pm and a welcome amenity linked to Hoi An’s heritage.
