Tempo by Hilton Times Square launches The Lost Boys suite

The Manhattan hotel’s Broadway partnership combines a themed suite with merchandise, a food and beverage credit and special menus at its Highball bar and lounge.

Tempo by Hilton Times Square has launched a suite themed around Broadway musical The Lost Boys at its hotel in Manhattan’s theatre district. Hilton said the accommodation is available now for stays through September 14, 2027, with the partnership also extending to the property’s Highball bar and lounge.

The hotel, next to the Palace Theatre, is linking the room experience to the production through interior design, merchandise and food and beverage benefits. For hotel operators, the collaboration brings together accommodation and hospitality offerings around a neighbouring theatre production, rather than limiting the partnership to room décor.

Guests booking The Lost Boys Suite receive a package of show-inspired clothing and accessories, a themed sweet on arrival and a food and beverage credit for use during their stay. Hilton did not specify the value of the credit or a room rate in its announcement.

Suite design draws on Santa Carla

The suite takes its design cues from Santa Carla, the musical’s seaside boardwalk setting, which becomes vampire territory after dark. According to Hilton, the interiors combine references to that setting with 1980s entertainment and visual details.

A bedroom mural depicts an illuminated Ferris wheel beneath a night sky, while the living area features graffiti-style artwork. Furnishings and entertainment include a beachside bench, a vintage cabinet television, a VCR with 1980s tapes, and a record player with a vinyl collection.

Highball adds themed drinks and dining

The partnership also introduces themed food and drinks at Highball. A cocktail combines clarified Canerock Jamaican rum, lime juice and demerara, with red candyfloss that dissolves to produce an effect referencing the show.

A three-course prix fixe menu offers a choice of four-cheese arancini or spicy crispy rice to start. Main courses include cheese ravioli, roasted chicken breast and Korean BBQ-glazed salmon.

Dessert is rice pudding topped with cinnamon, gummy worms, raspberry and caramel popcorn. It is served in a Chinese takeaway-style rice container with edible chopsticks, a presentation that Hilton said refers to a scene in the musical.

Partnership builds on theatre location

Matthew Belsito, the hotel’s director of marketing, said its location beside the Palace Theatre gave it an opportunity to connect guests more closely with Broadway. He described the production’s storytelling and visual identity as the basis for translating the stage experience into a hotel stay.

Producers James Carpinello, Marcus Chait and Patrick Wilson said the suite would allow audiences to extend their engagement with the musical beyond the performance. Hilton described The Lost Boys as a four-time Tony Award-winning production.

Information about the suite and stays is available through the hotel’s website. Tickets for the musical are available separately through BroadwayDirect.com or the Palace Theatre box office.
