Hilton plans to introduce NoMad to Asia Pacific and bring Waldorf Astoria and Conrad to Malaysia as part of a hotel opening programme extending through late 2026. In a September update, the company also outlined expansion of Signia Hilton and its apartment accommodation portfolio in the US, alongside first entries into Valencia, Spain, and La Paz, Mexico.

The schedule combines new destination launches with substantial meeting and event capacity, particularly in Indianapolis and Kuala Lumpur. Hilton also said Conrad Indianapolis is undergoing a $25 million property-wide renovation tied to its 20th anniversary. The company listed opening dates as anticipated.

Luxury brands enter new Asian markets

Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur is expected to open in October 2026, marking the brand’s Malaysian debut. Located in the Golden Triangle, the hotel will have 268 suites starting from 80 square metres across 23 floors, with dining concepts led by chefs Garima Arora and Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

Its meetings offering will comprise more than 3,745 square metres, including a 1,545-square-metre pillarless ballroom. The property is near Bukit Bintang shopping destinations and connected to the city’s principal transport hubs, according to Hilton.

Conrad Kuala Lumpur is scheduled for mid-December 2026, also in the Golden Triangle, and will introduce Conrad Hotels & Resorts to Malaysia. The 481-room hotel will span 50 floors, with five dining experiences, two floors of meeting areas including a ballroom, a spa, fitness centre and swimming pool.

NoMad Hilton Singapore is anticipated to open by the end of 2026, establishing the brand’s first Asia Pacific presence. The 173-room Orchard Road property will combine dining and cultural programming with locally commissioned artwork. Singapore will also gain the 344-key DoubleTree by Hilton Singapore Robertson Quay in October 2026, with seven function spaces.

Signia adds convention capacity in Indianapolis

The 803-room Signia Hilton Indianapolis is expected to open in December 2026 and will be the city’s tallest hotel, Hilton said. The property will connect by skywalk to the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium, giving its meeting and event facilities direct links to those venues.

The City of Indianapolis owns the hotel, with operations led by the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County and management provided by Hilton. It will offer 100,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 50,000-square-foot ballroom, plus seven dining and bar concepts and a rooftop pool.

Hilton’s apartment accommodation expansion includes Placemakr Pittsburgh Downtown, Apartments by Hilton, listed for September 2026, and Anthem House – Placemakr Huntsville, Apartments by Hilton, scheduled for October 2026. The properties will offer residential-style stays in Pittsburgh’s downtown area and Huntsville’s MidCity District respectively.
