Hilton Honors covers more than 550 SLH hotels across nearly 90 countries

Hilton’s partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World links independent boutique properties to its loyalty programme, with room-only points earning and property-specific benefits.

Online Franchise Chronicle · 9/30/2026

Hilton Honors members can earn and redeem points at more than 550 Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) properties across nearly 90 countries, Hilton said in a September 2026 newsroom post. The company outlined the reach of its partnership alongside booking requirements and limits on eligible spending.

The arrangement, which began in 2024, brings independently owned boutique hotels into the range of stays available through Hilton’s loyalty programme. For participating operators, the link combines bookings through Hilton channels with points earning on room spending and access to reward stays.

Room spending qualifies, ancillary purchases do not

Members must book eligible stays through Hilton channels to earn points at participating SLH hotels. Hilton specified that earnings apply to room spending only, rather than additional purchases made on the property.

Members can also use points to book reward stays at participating properties. According to Hilton, those points can come from travel, everyday spending and Hilton Honors partners, allowing balances accumulated elsewhere to be redeemed within the SLH collection.

Hilton listed reward-stay benefits including no blackout dates for standard room rewards when available, a fifth night free and waived resort fees for stays booked entirely with points. It also said eligible Hilton Honors benefits apply at participating SLH hotels, although the specific benefits can differ by property.

Independent hotels broaden the luxury offering

SLH’s collection comprises independently owned luxury boutique hotels, with an average property size of 44 rooms. Its accommodation spans remote islands, countryside estates and city locations, offering a different range of settings within the loyalty programme.

Hilton described the partnership as exclusive and expanding, and said the hotels complement its growing global luxury portfolio. The company said the agreement gives members earning and redemption options in destinations where Hilton Honors stays might not previously have been available.

Participating properties span waterfronts, cities and ranches

Among the European examples highlighted by Hilton were Helenekilde Badehotel in Denmark, a waterfront property with Scandinavian design, and Miramonti Boutique Hotel in the Italian Alps. Hilton presented the latter as an option for mountain travel, outdoor activities and local culture.

The company also pointed to The Pinnacle Kigali in Rwanda’s capital and Paradise Beach Nevis in the Caribbean. The Nevis property offers beachfront villas, illustrating the range of accommodation available alongside urban hotels in the participating collection.

In the American West, Hilton highlighted Rawah Ranch in Colorado for its access to outdoor landscapes. Together, the examples show the partnership’s coverage across waterfront, alpine, city, island and ranch settings rather than a single hotel format.

Members can view participating SLH properties and make bookings through Hilton.com. Points earning and redemption remain tied to participating hotels, with property-level differences in the benefits available.
