Jollibee will launch Honey Garlic Fried Chicken and a Honey Garlic Chicken Sandwich at participating restaurants across the US and Canada on October 15. Announced on October 13, 2026, the limited-time additions extend the restaurant brand’s existing chicken menu as it continues its North American expansion.
The launch applies a honey garlic sauce to both bone-in fried chicken and a fried chicken breast sandwich, with fried garlic used as a garnish. Jollibee did not specify an end date for the promotion or provide prices in its announcement.
New sauce across chicken formats
The bone-in chicken is glazed in honey garlic sauce and finished with crispy fried garlic bits. Jollibee describes the flavour as sweet and savoury, with a subtly spicy element.
The sandwich features a fried chicken breast fillet coated in the same glaze, with fresh cucumber slices and crispy fried garlic bits. It is served on a toasted brioche-style bun, giving the promotion a sandwich option alongside the bone-in chicken range.
Luis Velasco, senior vice president and marketing head of Jollibee North America, positioned the products as an extension of familiar menu favourites. He said the launch was intended for existing customers as well as people trying the brand for the first time, with lunch and dinner identified as target occasions.
Combos, buckets and digital ordering
Honey Garlic Fried Chicken will be offered in a 2-piece combo, with 6-piece and 10-piece buckets also available. The Honey Garlic Chicken Sandwich provides a separate format within the same limited-time range.
Customers will be able to order the additions in restaurants, through drive-thrus, or through the Jollibee app and website for collection and delivery. The company also highlighted Jollibee Rewards, its free loyalty programme, which provides offers and rewards to members.
For participating operators, the announced rollout spans counter service, drive-thru and digital channels rather than being confined to a single ordering route. Availability remains limited to participating locations; the release did not identify those restaurants or state how many would carry the products.
Launch sits within wider restaurant portfolio
Jollibee described the menu launch as taking place alongside its continuing expansion across North America, although it provided no new opening targets or investment figures. The announcement therefore centres on the product offer rather than a new restaurant development agreement.
Parent company Jollibee Foods Corporation says its group portfolio comprises 20 brands with over 10,700 stores and cafés across 33 countries. Jollibee is among its wholly owned brands, alongside businesses including Chowking, Red Ribbon, Smashburger and Tim Ho Wan.
The group also operates franchised brands in the Philippines, including Burger King, Panda Express, Yoshinoya, Common Man Coffee Roasters and Tiong Bahru Bakery. The honey garlic announcement concerns the Jollibee brand’s participating North American restaurants, rather than a rollout across that wider portfolio.
