Hilton announced the debut of Hilton Key West Resort & Marina on Stock Island on 1 July 2026, establishing the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand’s first property in Key West. The 175-room waterfront resort brings Hilton’s wider presence in the Florida Keys to its 12th property, according to the company.
The resort combines marina access, dining and leisure facilities with indoor and outdoor meeting space, serving both holidaymakers and group travellers. Its debut also comes with an ongoing programme of room and amenity improvements, including a new event pavilion.
Danny Hughes, president, Americas, Hilton, said demand for coastal and resort destinations remained strong. He described the addition as part of Hilton’s focus on expanding in destinations that guests want to visit, strengthening its portfolio across the Florida Keys.
Waterfront accommodation and dining
Occupying 20 waterfront acres at the eastern edge of Key West, the resort has 175 guest rooms, including 86 suites. According to Hilton, every room has a private furnished balcony with views of the marina and Atlantic Ocean.
The food and beverage offering includes Yellowfin Bar & Kitchen, which serves dishes drawing on the flavours of the Keys, and Ocean’s Edge Café, offering Cuban coffee, smoothies and takeaway food. Guests can also order drinks and light meals by the pools or use in-room dining.
Direct access to the marina connects guests with fishing, boating and other marine activities. Hilton said the resort’s design and experiences draw on its island location, with the waterfront setting central to the property’s offering.
Leisure facilities alongside group space
The property has six saltwater pools and a fitness centre, alongside complimentary recreational activities including paddleboarding, kayaking, cycling and yoga classes. Lawn games and poolside film nights are also part of the programme.
A complimentary shuttle connects the resort with Old Town, providing access to Duval Street, Mallory Square and the Key West Historic Seaport. For meetings and celebrations, the property offers a 570-square-foot boardroom and a 1,140-square-foot outdoor patio among its indoor and outdoor event spaces.
For operators, the property brings together accommodation, dining, recreation and group-event facilities within Hilton’s regional portfolio. It also participates in Hilton Honors, the company’s guest loyalty programme.
Room refresh and event pavilion under way
Leonard Gooz, global brand leader, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, linked the debut to the brand’s history of combining hospitality with local culture. He highlighted the marina access, waterfront location and island-influenced design as defining elements of the Key West property.
Work accompanying the debut includes new flooring, furnishings and décor in guest rooms, improvements to resort amenities and the addition of a Tiki Event Pavilion. Hilton said the enhancements are intended to improve the guest experience while retaining the property’s Florida Keys character.
