Hilton profiles business guest care at Bengaluru Whitefield DoubleTree

Hilton’s latest staff profile details how its Bengaluru Whitefield DoubleTree team coordinates business traveller support, from early departures to medical emergencies, alongside efforts to support colleagues.

Online Franchise Chronicle · 9/2/2026

Hilton has highlighted how staff at DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Whitefield in India coordinate support for business travellers, featuring the property in its Behind the Stay series on 2 September 2026. The company’s account covers assistance during a guest’s medical emergency, preparations for early departures and support for employees who communicate in sign language.

For hotel operators, the profile offers examples of front office, kitchen and other teams working together around guests’ needs. Hilton said the property’s approach involves anticipating requirements and adjusting service when travel or work schedules change, with the aim of leaving guests free to concentrate on business.

The company describes an international business clientele managing time-zone changes, meetings and airport transfers. Operations manager Kiran said that looking after those travellers is embedded in the hotel’s working culture, rather than being limited to individual service gestures.

Coordinating help beyond the front desk

One example concerned an international guest who needed urgent medical help during a 14-night business stay. According to Hilton, front office manager Nikhil and his team accompanied the guest to a nearby hospital, where he received a dengue diagnosis.

Staff remained in contact to check on the guest’s wellbeing during his recovery. They also worked with the kitchen to arrange suitable meals and made preparations for his return to the property, extending the response beyond the initial hospital visit.

The profile also describes more routine adjustments to business travellers’ schedules. Front office manager Rakesh’s team prepares packed breakfasts for guests leaving early for work or travelling directly to the airport, according to the company.

Hilton places those arrangements alongside DoubleTree’s warm chocolate chip cookie greeting at check-in as examples of its approach to welcoming guests. In the company’s account, planning ahead and remaining ready to adapt are central to how the Bengaluru Whitefield team manages a stay.

Staff support forms part of the service approach

“Care is a culture that you live by,” Kiran said. She described a connection between staff members’ commitment to caring for others and the experience they provide to guests.

That theme also runs through the employee experiences featured in the profile. Sales manager Sayantan said acceptance from colleagues had given the workplace a sense of family, while food and beverage associates Golla and Elizabeth described feeling supported and valued.

Golla and Elizabeth communicate in sign language, and Hilton said some colleagues have learned their language. The company presents that mutual support as part of the collaborative working environment behind the hotel’s guest service, linking its employee-focused Behind the Stay series to daily operations at the property.
