The Mexican Caribbean resorts adopt all-inclusive stays, with Waldorf Astoria moving to adults-only operations and Conrad adding an adults-only section from 10 January 2027.

Hilton has converted Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya and Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya on Mexico’s Caribbean coast to all-inclusive operations from 1 October 2026. The company said the changes expand the offering at both properties and strengthen its presence in the all-inclusive category.
A further change takes effect on 10 January 2027, when Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya will become adults-only for registered guests aged 18 and over. Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya will continue welcoming guests across generations, while introducing Ceiba Club as an adults-only section with the same minimum age.
The properties will serve different guest groups within Hilton’s luxury all-inclusive offering. The company is positioning Waldorf Astoria around privacy, personalised service and chef-led dining, while Conrad will combine a broader family offering with dining, cultural activities and opportunities to explore the destination.
Waldorf Astoria centres stays on personalised service
Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya will assign a personal concierge to each guest to help organise their visit before arrival and during their stay. Responsibilities will include restaurant bookings, wellness appointments, transport, excursions and celebrations.
Its programme will span wellness, crafts, food and entertainment, with beachfront yoga, Mayan breathing practices, artisan workshops and agave experiences among the activities described by Hilton. Afternoon sessions will include watercolours, traditional textiles and Mayan clay, followed by evening music and social events.
Dining will focus on regional Mexican food, with offerings including fire-based cooking at Malpeque, corn-focused experiences at Chaya and agave activities at JA’O. Peacock Alley will serve breakfast and afternoon tea, while the forthcoming BonbonOm concept will feature Mexican coffee tastings, masterclasses and cold brew.
The package will also include 24-hour room service, a personalised minibar replenished daily, welcome amenities and poolside service. Eligible direct bookings will receive private return transfers from Cancún International Airport.
Conrad combines family facilities with Ceiba Club
Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya’s all-inclusive dining will range from Mediterranean dishes at Maratea and Japanese food at Ukai to live teppanyaki at Kengai. Other venues will offer Mexican-inspired cocktails, coastal dishes and food cooked over fire.
Ceiba Club will include dinners at Autor, which Hilton describes as a Michelin-recognised restaurant serving contemporary Mexican cuisine. Guests in the adults-only section will also have exclusive access to Ceiba Lounge and Carbon Restaurant, Pool & Beach.
The wider resort will offer wellness, cultural, creative and evening activities, including Tulum After Dark and Full Moon Celebration. Its included MYTHOS World children’s club will provide age-appropriate activities drawing on nature and contemporary Mayan culture, alongside practical experiences and a night-time programme called The Stargazer.
Conrad’s package will include 24-hour room service, minibar replenishment and concierge assistance. Private return transfers from Cancún and Tulum international airports will be available for eligible direct bookings.
Eligibility conditions and existing bookings
At both resorts, eligible stays of four consecutive nights or more may receive a selected resort experience or an excursion per stay, with options varying by property. Conrad’s examples include a visit to the Vesica cenote, a family trip to Xel-Há water park or a spa experience.
Hilton said the expansion reflects demand from affluent travellers for easier stays combining dining, wellness and personalised experiences. Sylvia Scholey, Hilton’s vice-president and global head of All-Inclusive and Resorts, said travellers wanted the convenience of an all-inclusive resort alongside the individual attention and connection to local culture associated with its luxury brands.
Existing Conrad reservations will retain the plans and conditions confirmed at booking. Waldorf Astoria will also honour existing terms, except for reservations including guests under 18 arriving from 10 January 2027; the resort will work with those guests to identify alternative accommodation.
